Mama says we must never forget, but should learn from the past and look to the future ...
21 years ago sounds like such a long time, but Mama was there while this was happening. I am not allowed to watch the whole video yet but I can when I am older and understand. Daddy said so much happened on June 4th 1989 and it changed China forever. I am half Chinese but have not yet been to Beijing or anywhere on the Mainland; Mama and Daddy told me we will go soon though.
This song is by Anita Mui who was one of Daddy's favorite Canto-pop stars - she died before I was born.
Felix, Theo, Sophia and Amelie - you cannot watch all of this yet either.

What an amazing heritage you have come from.. It goes back thousands of years and is steeped in so much History, and as you grow and learn I am sure you will be so proud of your origins..Always remember that because of your ancestors your Granny and Grand Dad in the West are free to love you in the East...
